The Tau Omega Chapter of Tau Epsilon Phi was refounded at the University of Rhode Island in the Fall semester of 2017. While the University of Rhode Island did not want another Fraternity on campus, Omer Taj, the founder, met with the director of Greek Life and started TEP at URI. The Tau Omega Chapter was officially chartered on October 9, 2021.
