Tau Epsilon Phi is a national men's fraternity founded at Columbia University in New York, NY on October 10, 1910 on the principles of friendship, chivalry, and service. The Branding Guide exists to clearly communicate the Tau Epsilon Phi brand and provide distinct guidelines for how the fraternity's visual identity should be used.
Tau Epsilon Phi holds exclusive ownership of all its trademarks, symbols (ΤΕΦ), crests, creeds, badges, and use of "TEP." Only authorized parties — members in good standing, recognized alumni associations, the Grand Council, and staff — may use these marks. They may never be associated with illegal substances, depictions demeaning to any ethnicity, religion, or culture, content that harms based on gender or sexual identity, or otherwise incorrect brand usage.
